Mac is our special sweetheart fellow, a 5-6 year old light black & white male with those soulful blue eyes that seem to look right through you.  Mac is an owner surrender who ended up with heartworm, but we successfully treated him and he now put that chapter way behind him. However, he will still need to be on HW treatment meds for the rest of his life. And we recommend that with our dogs anyway.

Mac loves kids and would do well around kids that are perhaps over 7 or 8 years old and who can respect him. He also gets along with other dogs and owners that can spend quality time with him. He is a love of a dog and will reward you with absolute, unconditional love.

Mac loves going on walks and taking hikes. He is not overly active like many huskies, so we consider him a real gem since he just loves to hang out with his humans. Mac is on a low-level dose of pain med for a bit of stiffness, but he does very well and the medication is pretty inexpensive. Once you meet him, you will absolutely fall in love with him.
